PRACTICE
To be good at anything takes practice. Every once in a while I write something and someone reads it and says “wow, that’s really good, you’re no where near as dumb as you look.” It doesn’t happen often, but it does happen. I thought about it and realized I write like I play pool. Every once in a while I play a phenomenal game. Most of the time however I just plain suck. I know I have it in me to be good because when I’m good I’m way too good for just dumb luck, but I’m inconsistent. Inconsistent means lack of practice. Its time to practice.

DOCUMENTATION
It appears about half my life is over. The first half was full of all sorts of documentation but the second half is succumbing to the inane nonsense of social networking. A personal blog is a lot harder to read than 140 character “proclamations.” You’d have to actually read a bunch of these posts to learn anything about me, which probably no one will do, but its here anyway. If you think that’s an arrogant statement, remember that’s why its called a “personal” blog – this time it really is all about me. Actually its usually about me anyway, but this time its documented.

SHIT JUST GOT REAL
I am very curious in this age of instant information and carefully crafted social networking profiles how this will go over. I can say all sorts of stupid shit here. Will anyone see it? Will anyone care?
